This project is a new, ground up, two-story building with a base footprint of approximately 21,300 sf and an overall gross area of approximatley 42,462 sf. The Squadron Operations Facility/Aircraft Maintenance Unit consists of flight planing, air crew briefing/debriefing and training in a secure environment, admin, storage and issue of flight crew life support system equipment. The first floor will have a combined area for maintenance, tool crib for parts storage, equipment issue, and classified vault. The facility also has general stroage, mechanical, electric equipment and communitions.
Hardrock's scope of work consists of continuous and spread footings, interior slab on grade over ABC and vapor barrioer, slab on metal deck, stair pan fill, sidewalks, handicap ramps, exterior concrete slabs, exterior concrete paving, mechanical pads, curb and gutter, single curb, valley gutter, scuppers, pipe bollards, light pole bases, and reinforcing.
